Roberto Antonio's story

Roberto is a 50-year-old micro entrepreneur who lives in Barranquilla with his wife and children. He has a business selling meats, fruits and vegetables.

Roberto started his business approximately two years ago. After having worked for over 20 years in a warehouse chain in the area of fruits and vegetables and acquiring all the pertinent knowledge, he decided to become independent and start his own business. He offers his services daily with cash sales and credit to his principal customers who are neighboring stores or those close to the area.

Due to health and safety regulations of the national government due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Roberto had to suspend his work. He is currently seeking his first Kiva loan through the Fundación Mario Santo Domingo to increase his work capital and to buy ingredients, such as pork, beef, chicken, and vegetables in bulk. This will increase his sales and the profits of his business. Support him with this business loan.
