Albertina's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a milling machine and more cereals to grind and to produce cattle feed in order to increase the income for her family.

Albertina's story

Albertina is a 51-year-old Mozambican woman. She lives in Chimoio with her husband and their three children.

Albertina is a long-time entrepreneur woman in her community. She has a lot of experience in cereals production to make cattle feed and sell it to companies in her community. Due to her personal expertise she was also able to produce and sell milk from the cattle she raises. The milk is sold in her community only, helping hundreds of farmers to diversify their diet.

Albertina wants to expand her cattle-feed production due to a crescent demand from local companies. In order to be able to permanently produce cattle feed for the market, Albertina needs to acquire one more milling machine as well as more cereals so that she can grind cereals and produce cattle feed to sell, in order to increase her family's income. This is why Albertina is requesting a Kiva loan.
