Block 43 Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy trays of eggs, soda drinks, biscuits and noodles to sell as highly demanded by customers.
Block 43 Group's story
The Block 43 group is thankful for the loan extended to them by Kiva and Kiva lenders. The group used the loan for their respective businesses during the holidays. This enabled them to get better sales. They were able to repay back their loan in time. With the Covid-19 pandemic, the group was thankful that all of them are into businesses which were allowed by the government to operate. Wilma, a store owner had seen better sales with more customers opting to buy from community stores instead of going to the big market where there are more people and risk of getting the virus. Wilma is requesting a loan to buy trays of eggs, soda drinks, biscuits and noodles to sell as highly demanded by customers. The loan amount will be shared among other members of the group who like Wilma aims to increase the volume of their products. Note: This is a group loan but only Wilma is photographed as social gatherings are still not allowed by the government.
