Uzima Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy 1 bale of secondhand clothing to strengthen her initial capital.

Uzima Group's story

Mme Marceline is a client of the MFI Hekima and the leader of the banque villagois "Uzima". She is 55 years old, married, and the mother of 9 children, all of whom attend school. Her spouse is a merchant.

Mme Marceline sells secondhand clothing. She launched her business 33 years ago with start-up funds from her husband. She later became involved with the Hekima program to support her business; it has since progressively evolved. With this new loan, she will purchase one bale of secondhand clothing, which will strengthen her initial capital. The challenge facing her business is related to unpaid debts.

She would like her children to continue with their education. She herself would like to become a wholesaler. Lastly, she wants to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they provide to business owners who lack access to traditional banks during the COVID-19 global crisis.

Due to COVID-19, the photo depicts only the group's leader.
