And Dioubo Ngothie Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy sheep to resell.

And Dioubo Ngothie Group's story

Mrs. Marie is the president of the group "AND DIOUBO GOTHIE" in the Wolof language, it means "alliance" in English. She is a sheep farmer like all the other six women in the group. This loan application is intended for them to finance their livestock business. She is 25 years old, married and the mother of 3 children between the ages of 6 and 15, who are all in school. Like all the other women in the group, Mrs. Marie has been in this business for 4 years.

Mrs. Marie plans to take out her loan to buy ewes, food, and vaccines to strengthen her business and increase her revenues. She gets her supplies at the weekly markets of her neighborhood and finally resells them, after they hit maturity, in the surrounding villages or in these same markets. Her main wish is to have a large herd. The income she makes allows her to participate in meeting the needs of her three children (health, food, education, hygiene, etc.).

Among the difficulties she encounters are the death of one of the animals, the lack of treatment, and theft.
