La Terminal Group's story

The group called La Terminal is in its loan cycle number 10 in the women's committee program. They are 23 women who struggle for a better quality of life for their families, so they don't have to experience any type of hardship.

One of them is Maria, who works growing and selling tomatoes. She says that she, herself, is responsible for harvesting and planting. Although her work is modest, she helps her family with it. She seeks to be able to give them everything she was unable to have and to prevent them from experiencing hardships.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Maria says that her work was affected, especially by the quarantine, since she was not able to work normally and this affected her income. She is happy for the opportunity to be able to continue with her undertaking which will help her sustain her household.

She asks for this loan to be able to inject capital into her work and to purchase seeds, soil amendments, fertilizers, and other products.

Note: There is only one person in the photo, but this is a group loan. A group photo was not possible to prevent the gathering of people due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
