Mujeres Unidas Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy baked goods, vegetables, fruit, meat, canned goods, and other products.

Mujeres Unidas Group's story

The group called Mujeres Unidas was formed when friends and neighbors gathered in Asunción, looking for ways to improve their quality of life. They say that their businesses have been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, and as a result, so have their incomes.

Maria is one of them. Her job is selling at a modest grocery store where she works daily from early in the morning. She says that she started the business with very little, but has gradually been improving thanks to her effort and daily struggle.

She needs to be able to invest a little more capital in her job to revitalize it, and to meet her obligations and make progress.

She would like to buy a variety of products for her shop, such as baked goods, vegetables, fruit, meat, canned goods, and other products in order to continue with her sales and improve her business.

Note: There is only one person in the photograph, but this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo, in order to avoid gathering people together during the Covid-19 pandemic.
