A loan helped to buy animals to resell as part of improving his family conditions.

Kelenya Group's story

His name is Bakary, the one sitting next to his ox. He is Malian, married, 54 years old and father of 14 children, 6 of whom are in school.

Bakary is a farmer, raises livestock, and his business is to buy lean oxen and cows. He fattens and raises them for a few months and then resells them. He finds that after each sale per animal he can have 30,000 FCFA or more as a profit and sometimes some cows give birth, and all of that is a profit. After sales, the profit is invested in taking care of the family's needs (food, school fees, medical care, shoes and clothes) and the rest is invested in his business. Bakary has been farming for about 8 years and buys his oxen and cows at the local market. He sometimes sells them to other markets. The problem he has is the high cost of feed for the livestock.

As part of expanding the volume of his business, Bakary is using RMCR to be granted a loan. Bakary wants his children to lack nothing.
