Mujeres Guerreras Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy thermoses, leather, glue, imitation leather, and other products.

Mujeres Guerreras Group's story

The committee called Mujeres Guerreras [Warrior Women] are in their fifth loan cycle. They all strive to excel and to offer their families a life of dignity free of hardships.

One of them is Hilda, who makes a living selling decorated thermoses, which are used often in Paraguay for drinking mate and terere, traditional drinks in the country. She is a determined person who looks for ways to continue helping her family through her work so that they don't lack for anything and don't have to suffer any hardships.

She says that due to the crisis that the world is passing through with the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, she hasn't been able to work as she normally would because it has affected her business greatly. But she is looking for ways to overcome and leave the obstacles behind.

She is requesting this loan to buy materials to continue with her work, such as thermoses, leather, glue, imitation leather, and other products.

Note: Only one person appears in the photo, but this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo because of restrictions on gatherings of people due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
