Arlene's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy neoprene fabric to sew face masks, as ordered from her in bulk.

Arlene's story

Arlene is thankful for the previous loan extended to her. She used the loan to buy fabric and other materials to sew curtains, as ordered from her. This enabled Arlene to establish a network of buyers who ordered from her regularly. She sold well and was able to pay back her loan in time.

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected people in different ways. For Arlene, the months during which the community quarantine was implemented has put her curtain sales in a downward trend. However, as she wanted to rebound, Arlene shifted into sewing face masks, and was happy to be receiving orders.

Arlene is requesting a loan of PHP 10,000 to buy neoprene fabric to sew face masks, as ordered from her in bulk. Arlene hopes to be able to rebuild her income now that a less strict quarantine measure is enforced in her area.
