Erika Patricia's story

Erika Patricia is an enterprising micro-entrepreneur, who is 48 years old. She is a resident of the city of Barranquilla.

Her business is making and selling chocolate products, such as cakes, cupcakes, and more. She also decorates the products for social events. The idea for this business came from her grandparents who were dedicated to this work, and she learned the work when she realized she could earn an income from it. She has been doing this work for 4 years. Her customers are children and adults, friends and references. Her goal is to have a shop where she can offer better service.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, she had to suspend her operations. and her income declined drastically due to the health concerns.

Now, she is requesting her first Kiva loan from the Fundación Mario Santo Domingo to invest in buying chocolate supplies. Support her with her business loan.
