A loan helped to add more inventory of groceries.

Vincent's story

Vincent is a refugee, but more than that, he is married and a business owner. He has a proven track record of success. Since he opened his grocery store it has gained a good reputation in the camp and has a strong base of loyal customers.

It all started in 2015, when Vincent and his family fled the violence in Burundi due to political unrest. After resettling in one of Kenya's refugee camps, Vincent quickly started his business to provide for his family.

After participating in AEC’s business training program focused on improving financial management and increasing sales, Vincent is requesting a loan to grow his business even more.

This loan will help him increase working capital and enable him to add more products to the grocery store business, offering his community more options, and giving him the opportunity to build a better life for his family through growing his business.
