Mujeres Trabajadoras Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to refinance debt and buy shoes to sell.

Mujeres Trabajadoras Group's story

This group is composed of 16 women, all of them heads of households who fight for their families. They do this to offer their families everything they couldn't have and so that their families don't experience need as they have.

One of them is Yenifer, who sells shoes to provide for her loved ones. She is a determined person who, with a lot of sacrifices, has managed to get ahead and meet her family's needs. Despite the difficulties, she fights to provide her loved ones a decent living and also to better herself.

She mentions that her job has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. It's prevented her from working as she normally would and fulfilling all of her obligations. This is why she fights to be able to pick herself up and continue providing the best for her family.

She is asking for this loan to be able to refinance her debt and invest capital in her business. This will allow her to continue improving and buy more shoes to sell.

Note: This is a group loan, but only one person appears in the photo. A group photo was not possible so as to avoid gatherings of people during COVID-19.
