Zabira's story

Zabira is 59 years old, married, and mother to 4 children. She has a high-school education and raises crops and animals as the primary income for her family. Thanks to her hard work, her farm currently has 2 cows, 10 sheep, and one horse. Her monthly income is about 20,000 som (KGS). She tries to puts her savings toward growing and expanding her farm, as well as toward improving the conditions for the livestock.

She began building a barn, but she needs more funds to buy construction materials finish building it. She applied for a loan of 120,000 som (KGS) from Bai Tushum Bank. She plans to invest her income from the farm into further growing her agriculture business and improving the conditions for her livestock.
