A loan helped to buy more items to increase his stock for his grocery store.

Eugene's story

Eugene's business is one of the most visited in the community of Kirehe in Rwanda. He runs a restaurant that is near one of Rwanda's refugee camps. His restaurant is very welcoming with great customer service. In the past few months, the business was booming where he had many clients go for lunch in his restaurant.

However, in March his business was closed due to the pandemic. Even though he has reopened, clients are still skeptical to go to restaurants considering that the pandemic is not over. Eugene decided to open a wholesale grocery store where he sells essential products that are required on a daily basis. This has helped him gain profit to support his wife and two children. A loan to Eugene will help him buy more items to increase his stock, hence an increase in profit
