Jorge Luis's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy high-demand merchandise, such as brake belts, retainers, gaskets, oil filters, spark plugs and more.

Jorge Luis's story

Jorge, 36, is a small business owner in Barranquilla, he sells motorcycles, parts and accessories, and provides maintenance and service; he opened his business about two years ago.

Jorge started up his business thanks to support from his mother, who have him working capital to buy inventory, thanks to suppliers who helped with purchases. Jorge sells products like spark plugs, oils, batteries, brake belts, and does repair work.

His goal is to expand his stock and offer more merchandise; because of the Covid-19 pandemic he had to shut down his business because of safety concerns, and his income dropped drastically. Now he is applying for his first Kiva loan through the Mario Santo Domingo Foundation to buy more high-demand merchandise at wholesale, such as brake belts, retainers, gaskets, oil filters, spark plugs and more. Please support his business loan.
