Sabugnuman Group's story

Malian, Alima, is 44 years old with 5 children. Not being literate she was a housewife. She has been animal raising for some years with the help of her farmer husband, working well at the raising of animals acquired with the financing of RMCR. With the goal of expanding her animal raising, she uses RMCR to expand her business in order to increase her principal source of income.

It is the woman who is holding the ram. Her supplies are bought at the village as well as surrounding areas and the sale of the animals made at the local market. After the sale she can generate 30,000 FCFA as profits for each cycle. The profits from the sale of sheep allow her to take care of: the health, the nourishment, the education and the clothing of her children. She has not encountered difficulties with the loan from RMCR.

In the future, Alima hopes to obtain more funds, to make this business of animal raising an employment opportunity for her children.
