Zizamani Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase the ACE-1 hybrid energy system for cooking, lighting and charging in a way that is safer, cleaner and saves money.

Zizamani Group's story

Mapatliso is a 37-year-old woman who lives in a multi bedroom house, without access to electricity, with 4 children. Mapatliso relies on family support and struggles to buy multiple types of fuel on an insufficient income. Most of her energy expenses are for gas and paraffin, which cost up to LSL 189 per month. She also spends as much as 1 hour per day gathering fuel and fulfilling other energy needs like phone charging.

Mapatliso and the other members of the group in this village each bought the ACE-1 cookstove to help them save the money they spend every month on fuel. The cookstove also helps them access solar electricity for charging their mobile devices any time for free. The ACE-1 clean cook-stove is biomass and solar powered.
