Maleloko's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase the ACE-1 hybrid energy system for cooking, lighting and charging in a way that is safer and cleaner, and saves money.

Maleloko's story

Maleloko is a 54-year-old woman who lives in a multi-bedroom house with 10 other family members, including 4 children.

Maleloko relies on commercial farming, and she struggles to cover her multiple fuel needs on her insufficient income. Most of the money she spends on her energy needs goes on electricity, wood, paraffin and gas, which costs up to LSL 978 per month. She also spends as much as 1 hour per day gathering fuel and meeting other energy needs, like phone charging.

Maleloko bought the ACE 1 cookstove to help her and her family to save the money spent every month on fuel, and also to help them to access solar electricity for charging their mobile devices any time for free. The ACE 1 clean cook-stove is biomass and solar-powered.
