Diana Carolina's story

Diana is 58 years old. She is in a common-law relationship and has two children, ages 15 and 12. Her husband is a fisherman. They live in the city of Machalilla, a place with beautiful beaches and heavily visited tourist attractions. The beaches are now deserted because of the emergency caused by Covid-19.

She is a determined woman who, despite how difficult the situation is, draws the strength to give her children what is necessary. She has a grocery store at her house. She sells a large variety of basic necessities there.

The health crisis left her in a very bad situation. At the beginning, she was not able to make sales. Later she began to make sales at the times permitted, although she was afraid of becoming infected along with her family. She is continuing and, although her profits are not the same, at least she earns enough for her most necessary expenses.

This loan is for the purchase of products to stock her store. Her dreams are to move forward and to give the best to her children.
