Laetitia's story

Laetitia is a mother of two and lives near the Nyabiheke Refugee Camp in Rwanda. Her husband is a teacher at a nearby school. Laetitia has always been passionate about business. She decided to start a grocery store from the family savings. Laetitia's dream came true because after starting her business she gained recognition from her refugee friends and other people living in her community.

Laetitia's business has helped her provide for her family financially. Together with her husband, they are able to provide all the essential services for their children. The shop supports the husband’s income for all their basic needs. The shop is growing day by day.

The business has been doing well and was also able to operate during the lockdown because she sells essential household products. A loan to Laetitia will help her increase inventory to meet the demand of her customers.
