Belky Concepción

Barranquilla, Atlantico, Colombia / Food

Belky Concepción's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to raise working capital and invest in the purchase of vegetables (squash, potatoes, capsicums, tomatoes), fruits (strawberries, pomegranates, melons) and anything else belonging to the consumer basket.

Belky Concepción's story

Belky Concepción is an enterprising small business owner. She is 34 years old and lives in the city of Barranquilla. She lives there with her partner and owns a business selling fruits and vegetables.

Belky Concepción has been doing this job for about 4 years. Using the settlement she had received from her previous job and with the support from her partner she decided to set up her own business. Her vision was to earn income in order to help with the household costs and establish herself as a small business owner. Her customers are school canteens, stores, neighbors, friends and referred people.

Belky Concepción's goal is to increase her inventory and have more goods. Due to the pandemic she had to lay off her employees and her income dropped drastically.

She is now asking for her first Kiva loan with the Fundación Mario Santo Domingo in order to raise working capital and invest in the purchase of vegetables (squash, potatoes, capsicums, tomatoes), fruits (strawberries, pomegranates, melons) and anything else belonging to the consumer basket. Support her in her business loan.
