but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to increase working capital, and to buy supplies such as printer ink, paper, and other items.

Karen Patricia's story

Karen is an enterprising woman, 31 years of age, who lives with her daughter in the city of Cartagena de Indias.

There, she has a business doing advertising design. Karen started this business about four years ago; she decided to go out on her own after having worked for a publicity firm. When that business closed, with some savings that she had she decided to start on this path. Thanks to her work, she has gained recognition in the sector for her good work and for being a responsible person. She offers her services on a daily basis to people near the area, passers-by, relatives, and friends. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, she had to suspend her activities for reasons of public health and per the orders of the national government.

Now she is applying for her first Kiva loan with the Fundación Mario Santo Domingo to be able to increase her working capital and to buy supplies such as printer ink, paper, and other items, to be able to increase her sales
and profits. Support her business loan.
