Mary Jakeline's story

Mary Jakeline is 42 years old. She is married and has three children from this relationship, ages 19, 17, and 16. Her husband is a mason. They live in the parish of Sequita, a place with humble, hard-working people who, thanks to their labor, get their families ahead. This area has been severely affected by the health emergency caused by Covid-19.

She is a determined woman, who works raising pigs in order to help her husband with the household expenses. She occasionally works in a factory processing shrimp. During the period of the pandemic, she was not able to work at the factory, and her husband was also without work. The sales in her business diminished, so her financial situation has been severely affected. Despite everything, she is happy because, with this new loan, she will be able to resume raising pigs. She is confident that her situation will improve.

This loan is to purchase some pigs and balanced feed. Her dreams are that she and her family are healthy and her business prospers.
