Edisa's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy dairy cows to increase her livestock headcount and sales of organic milk.

Edisa's story

The 43-year-old Edisa is married, with three children. She has a secondary education, and is hardworking, goal-oriented, and enterprising by nature. She is well familiar with agricultural techniques and knows how to use resources for their intended purpose. She has been raising livestock since 2005, and that is her family's main source of income. Thanks to her hard work and responsible approach, she has been able to develop her farm, so that it now consists of 10 cows, 38 sheep, and six horses. There is also an 8.4-hectare irrigated plot on which she grows alfalfa and barley.

In order to develop her business further, Edisa has turned to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 150,000 som (KGS), to buy dairy cows. Her goal in this is to increase her sales of organic milk and her livestock-breeding income. She is planning to put the income generated by the loan into the ongoing development of her farm.
