Victoria Caterine's story

Victoria Caterine is 30 years old and she is a single mother of a two-year-old child. They live in the home of a family member in Jaramijo, Ecuador, a town known for its beautiful beach that bathes the coast of this beautiful place. The majority of residents work in ocean or seafood related industries.

Victoria Caterine is a single mother who makes an effort every day to help her son get ahead. For that reason she works buying and selling materials for fishing such as hooks, cables, plastics, fishing lines, and other materials. From the time she was 15 years old her parents taught her to make a living honestly. These materials help meet the needs of her customers, but with the pandemic her business has been affected and her sales have decreased and she has not had much income. She hopes that all of this will be over soon in order to continue growing her business. She will use this loan to invest in materials for fishing in order to reactivate her business. Her dream is that her son will never live in want.
