Zoila Teresita's story

Zoila Teresita and her family live the Calderón parrish in the city of Portoviejo. In this place, the people are very hardworking and they work in agriculture and business. This area has been very affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

She is a woman who, despite her age, strives to get her own means because she has worked her whole life. In her house she has a business selling natural products and does reflexology therapies and therapy baths. Due to the health emergency, her business has remained closed as she has not left the house due to being vulnerable to Covid-19 because of her age. This has led to economic problems.

With this new loan, she hopes to kick-start her business, despite fear of catching the disease. She will invest this loan into buying natural products for her business. Her dream is to maintain her health and continue working.
