Purva's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped me pay my contractor to resume work after COVID19 shutdowns and begin to purchase another poor condition dwelling.

Purva's story

I moved to US from India with an MBA (marketing) degree. First couple of years in US I did volunteering which led me to go to one house to another and drive around the city, and homes build in US were quite different back in India. I immediately developed curiosity of how different geographical location has an impact on the way houses were built. I was curious and started reading more about real estate in US. Soon, I took my Real Estate agent license. Every weekend I was excited to show houses to families and answer their queries. After few years I wanted to take a further step in getting close to buying a property and fixing it. So, for being around in the city of Pittsburgh for a while I was shocked to see how many houses were abandoned, foreclosed and Condemned. I bought my first property in 2017 with financial help from my parents. I renovated the house with help of my contractor. My husband who is also the co-owner helps me with tenants’ side of the business. Certain percentage of profits from real estate ventures are utilized to fund the charitable efforts of many organization of our choice – including child and women welfare. These investments are way for us to create more money to give away. “NO one has ever become poor by giving.”
