Mele's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy pandanus for her weaving and also to buy feed for her pigs.

Mele's story

Mele is 31 years old. She is married to a farmer, and they have three children. Mele runs a business of weaving and pig farming. She weaves on her own at home. With her weaving, Mele will be able to renovate their house and expand it. She weaves different weaving products, and when her orders are tight, she pays women to help her with her weaving. For her business of pig farming, her husband takes care of their pigs. They post their farming on social media and it makes their business well-known. Lately the pig farming has been running slowly due to the lock-down.

Mele is applying for a loan in order to buy pandanus [raw material used for weaving] and also pig feed. Her dream is to build a secure future for her children.
