but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase one sack of cornflour which will build on her initial capital.

Farijika Group's story

Julienne is a customer of the Hekima MFI and leader of the banc villageois "Farijika". She is married, 54 years old, and mother of one child who is in school; her partner is a driver.

She sells a local drink and started this this business in 2005 with start-up funds received from her husband. Later she starting using the Hekima programme to support her business, over the course of which she has progressively developed.

With this new loan, she will stock up on one sack of cornflour, which will build on her initial capital. The challenge in this work is related to the current crisis. She would like to feed her family.

Lastly, she thanks Hekima and partners for their support of non-bankable business owners in this time of global crisis linked to COVID-19. The photo only shows the group leader because of COVID-19.
