Ana Luisa's story

Ana Luisa is a young woman, 25 years old, who is in a common-law marriage and from this relationship has a 1-year-old child. Her partner works at a hardware store. They live in the city of Manta, known for its lovely beaches, and a place very affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

She is a very enterprising woman who likes to generate her own income and to help in the household. For over 5 years, she has worked selling yogurt delivered to order to regular customers. She works over 5 hours a day at her business, depending on how many orders she has that day.

For her, the health emergency has become very concerning since her sales have decreased a lot, since the vast majority of her orders were delivered to schools. To generate a bit more income, she takes advantage of the yogurt sales to offer masks which a relative sews and she distributes to the customers who need them. With this loan, she is planning to begin a new business, which is selling vegetables.

She will invest the loan in the purchase vegetables, masks, and yogurt. Her dream is to have a butcher shop.
