Mele's story

Meet Mele. She is a 50 years old single mother of four children. Mele and her children lives at their own home with her brother who is also single. She and her brother runs a business of plantation, where they grow yams, taro, and some other crops. They have been running this business for more than ten years, and it is their main source of income. She does not want to make her children feels fatherless that is why she is willing to do anything for the benefits. She sells their crops every Saturday along the main road in their village. Mele applies for a loan in order to hire men to help her brother with harvesting of their yam plantation.
