A loan helped to buy shoes to sell.

Maria Carmen's story

Maria Carmen, 35, is in a relationship from which she has three children, ages 16, 11 and 7. Her husband is a bus transportation controller and they live in the city of Tosagua, a place very much affected both economically and socially by the Covid pandemic.

She is a woman who looks for ways to earn an income and help with expenses, especially now that her husband cannot go out to work since interprovincial transportation has not gotten back to normal yet. Thanks to her they get ahead. She sells shoes by catalogue. Before the health emergency she had a good sales volume but with the current situation business has dropped since she has not been able go out to offer her products for fear of falling ill.

Now she is selling on social media and, although she does not sell the same amount, this helps a lot. With this loan she hopes to boost her business.

This loan is to buy shoes. Her goals are for everything to pass and to return to her business.
