Sophia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase farm inputs.

Sophia's story

Sophia is 62 years old. She is married and all her children are above eighteen years old. She does crop and livestock farming and has been in the farming business for twenty-five years now, earning her a monthly income of 15,000 KES.

This is her first loan cycle from Vision Fund Kenya. She has borrowed 39,230 KES, which she plans to use to purchase farm inputs and hopes that her crops will do better, leading to a better harvest, and hence use the anticipated profits to buy a dairy cow and add animal feeds.

Her hopes and dreams for the future are to purchase land and have sufficient food.
