Mujeres Artesanas Del Chile Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy basic grains and hygiene products that have a high demand during the coronavirus pandemic.

Mujeres Artesanas Del Chile Group's story

Carla Vanesia (in the middle wearing a brown top and blue shorts) lives in the community of El chile Matagalpa. She is married and has three children. Her husband works in agriculture and livestock farming. For four years Carla has been an active associate of the communal group Mujeres Artesanas del Chile and depends on loans to capitalize her store.

She used to have a rustic diner where she served tourist groups but the socio-political crisis of 2018 and the legal insecurity of the country terminated her business. She had to reinvent herself to be able to survive and now she has a grocery store and also makes cakes on an order basis.

Today Carla needs a loan to develop her business. She needs to buy basic grains and hygiene products that are in high demand during the coronavirus pandemic.
