Asel's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy dairy cows in order to increase her milk sales to a local factory.

Asel's story

Asel, age 30, is married and has 2 daughters. She has a secondary-school education. She has been farming and raising livestock as her family's main source of income since 2015. Thanks to her tireless work, her farm now has 20 cows, 10 horses and a 2.4-hectare plot of land on which she grows potatoes and perennial grasses.
She has an agreement to deliver organic milk to a local factory for further processing into dairy products. This allows her to invest in her agricultural business on an ongoing basis. Having learned that she could get a loan using a contract for future delivery of "value chain" products as collateral, she has applied for a loan in the amount of 200,000 som (KGS) for the purchase of dairy cows, with the aim of increasing her volume of milk sales.
The factory's payments for the milk will be transferred directly to Asel's bank account. She plans to invest revenue from the loan in the expansion of her farm.
