Muattar's story

Muattar is 35 and married with a daughter. She has a high school education and has been working selling household products at the market since 2005, as her primary source of income. She has 220,000 KGS in inventory. She also has 0.83 hectares of irrigated land where she grows barley and tomatoes. Her total monthly income is currently 30,000 KGS.

In order to further develop her business, Muattar has approached Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 150,000 KGS, which she will use to develop her retail business by increasing her inventory of goods. She plans to use income from the loan to develop her business and buy a shipping vehicle for the business.
