Las Amigas Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy supplies to make chipas, such as starch, cheese, eggs, butter and other products to be able to continue with her work.

Las Amigas Group's story

The group called Las Amigas is in its eighth cycle in the committee of women program, where everyone helps each other to get ahead. They are doing the study into the elimination of poverty, where everyone is striving to be able to improve their situation in life and give the best to their family.
One of the members is Eugenia, who works selling chipa casera (cheese bread made from yucca flour), which is a typical Paraguayan food that is eaten at all times of the year.
She is a determined person who looks for ways to be able to be successful and with this be able to offer her family a better quality of life than what she had. She is grateful for the opportunity to be able to come together with the group, which will be a great help for her.
She is requesting this loan to be able to buy supplies to be able to make chipas, such as starch, cheese, eggs, butter and other products to be able to continue with her work.

Note: There is only person in the photo but this is a group loan. A group photo was not possible because of the need to avoid gatherings because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
