Las Marias Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy vegetables, meats, breads, chicken, and more.

Las Marias Group's story

This group is called “Las Marias”. The members have been working together for 28 loan cycles. All of the members are working hard for a higher quality of life. They want to do better and offer their loved ones what they themselves could not have.

Within the group, it is worth mentioning Erodita, who makes a living selling edible goods that she herself prepares every day from early in the morning. Erodita defines herself as a plucky person who does not allow herself to be defeated, and who is looking for ways to move forward.

She mentions that, owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, sales have been affected, but she still does not allow herself to be defeated. Erodita is fighting to grow and move forward in order to offer the best to her family.

She is applying for this loan in order to invest in and raise up her business. She wants to buy ingredients for her food, such as vegetables, meats, breads, chicken, and more, in order to continue with her work.

Note: Even though this is a group loan, only one person appears in the photo. It was not possible to take a group photo as people cannot meet in groups owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.
