Don Bosco Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy vegetables, meats, breads, condiments, and more.

Don Bosco Group's story

The “Don Bosco” loan group came together in the city of Villarrica, where each of the members works hard to achieve their common goals and to help each other to give their families the best they can. Each member has a business where they work every day, and this helps them to achieve their goals.

Within the group, it is worth mentioning Bernarda, who makes a living selling all types of foods. She says that she herself prepares the food. She is a very hard-working and enthusiastic person who earns a decent and honest living. Bernarda’s goal is to continue growing in order to help her family.

She says that, owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, her work has been greatly affected. She does not, however, allow herself to be defeated and she is looking for ways to drive her business forward again.

Bernarda is applying for this loan in order to buy ingredients to make food. She will buy goods such as vegetables, meats, breads, condiments, and more.

Note: Even though this is a group loan, only one person appears in the photo. It was not possible to take a group photo as people cannot meet in groups owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.
