Victor Alfonso's story

Victor Alfonso is a 32-year-old microentrepreneur, a resident of Barranquilla where he lives with his spouse and his three children, where he also has a stationery and gift shop as a business.

Victor Alfonso started this business approximately 8 years ago in his residence. He lives in a relative's home and his greatest desire is to have a house of his own to offer his children and to have the necessary resources to provide them the best education. He offers his merchandise through cash sales to his customers who are people from the nearby area, neighbors, relatives, among others.

Currently, his financial activity is stalled because of the Covid-19 pandemic due to health issues and therefore production has decreased and profits were not reflected.

For this reason, he is arranging his first Kiva funded loan through Fundación Mario Santo Domingo to be able to increase working capital and to buy stationery, pens, pencils, gift items, confetti, party balloons, etc. Support his business loan!
