Barranquilla, Atlantico, Colombia / Food

Mirian De Jesus's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to increase her work capital and be able to reopen her business with home sales, and to buy supplies like rice, meats, and oil among others.

Mirian De Jesus's story

Mirian is a 53-year-old entrepreneurial woman who lives in the city of Barranquilla, a place where she has owned a restaurant as her business for approximately ten years.

Mirian de Jesus started this business to help improve her quality of life and that of her family since she has become the one to support her family after her husband died. She sells traditional dishes on a daily basis with cash sales.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, she had to suspend her work and her income diminished drastically.

She is currently in the process of getting her first Kiva loan with the Mario Santo Domingo Foundation to increase her work capital and be able to reopen her business with home sales, as well as buy supplies like rice, meats, and oil among others so that she can increase her sales and generate higher income.

Please consider supporting her in her business loan.
