Avec Jam Kodienguina Group's story

Mrs. HOTHIA is the president of the JAM KODIENGUINE loan and credit village group. JAM KODJIENGUINE means "peace" in the local native language.

Hothia is the 55-year-old mother of six boys and three girls. Four of her children go to school. She has been a livestock farmer for over 6 years. This loan is for 11 dynamic women who raise livestock.

Hothia plans to use this loan to buy sheep and feed to fatten them prior to resale at the local weekly market.

Being a widow, she is her family's sole income earner. She wants to become an important livestock farmer and be able to fully provide for her children's education, healthcare, food, etc. She would also like to build a nice house in the near future.

Hothia is known as a hard-working, honest and sociable person. Thanks to her diligent work, she now owns five ewes and seven goats. In addition to this, which is her main activity, she also practices market gardening. She has been active in that sector for over 10 years.

Hothia sometimes faces difficulties caring for her animals due to vaccine shortages.
