Emprendedores De Uniles Suyapa Group's story

Dayana, 19 years old, is modest, responsible and very hardworking. She is married and without children but with a great desire to improve herself after graduating from high school. It was very difficult for her to keep studying, but that did not stop her from forging ahead.

Dayana’s business is the production of honey, which she sells already bottled throughout her community. Her goal is to place her product in grocery stores and with distributors.

As it stands, this would be Dayana’s second cycle of working with Fundenuse but her first with Kiva’s small business financing through the solidarity group model. She has decided to continue being part of the group with people from her community. They also give talks that help her manage her money and know how to invest or develop her budget as well as financial education talks.

Dayana is applying for a loan at Fundenuse with Kiva funds for the purchase of work tools: a protective suit, spatulas, large cans, containers, labels, caps, aluminum strainers, etc.

She belongs to the solidarity group "Emprendedores de Uniles Suyapa" together with Eda and Santos.
