Caroline's story

Caroline is a 31-year-old mother of four children living in Nakuru. This is a town on the highlands of Kenya that lies 1850 meters above the sea levels. Its temperate climates favor coffee, wheat, barley, maize, beans and potatoes farming. She is a mixed farmer who has farmed for the past ten years enabling her to support her family.

She is seeking this loan to buy farming inputs which she plans to use on improving her production and making more income to support her family. Caroline is hopeful that Kiva lenders are going to respond positively to her loan request and has thanked you for your good will in her life. Unlike banks and other local money lenders who operate mainly in urban centers, Juhudi Kilimo, a Kiva field partner, has extended its operations to the most remote areas of Kenya, creating opportunities for different people to access loans. Be inspired and support Caroline today with a loan.
