Chama Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy cheeses, cassava, fruit, and homemade sweets.

Chama Group's story

The group called “Chama” was formed with the union of friends and neighbors in the city of Santo André. They were seeking a way to improve their families' quality of life, so that they wouldn't have to face any scarcities.

Lucas (the man who is in the black shirt and jean shorts) is one of the members who makes a living with a business: he sells cassava, cheeses, and sweets in his neighborhood. He works every day starting early in the morning. He says that his work allows him to give his family the best of everything.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, his sales and profits were affected because he cannot go out to offer his products in his neighborhood. For this reason, he was not able to cover all of his expenses, but he says that he hasn't let himself be defeated and is seeking ways to improve and offer his family the best he can through his work.

Now Lucas is making sales via messaging apps, and he is asking for this loan in order to invest in his business and to buy cheeses, cassava, fruit, homemade sweets, and other products in order to continue with his sales.

The group would like to thank the investors.
