but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase fabric and thread and to improve infrastructure.

Kuña Morangatu 2 Group's story

Leonidas, mother of four, has been designing, making, and mending clothes for approximately 15 years. With the last few loans she has received, she has started building a larger workshop for her sewing business. Currently, she works out of the front room of her house, but as her business continues to expand, she has outgrown that room and is constructing an addition behind her home. Leonidas is known for encouraging and supporting the women in her neighborhood and she has created three different loan groups in her community so that more and more families have access to the capital they need to grow their businesses.
With her current loan, Leonidas will continue investing in the new shop she is building and will restock her sewing supplies. Others in her group sell traditional Paraguayan foods, sell clothing, or sell holistic plant remedies to put in a popular local tea.
