Coração Da Bahia Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy packaging and a freezer.

Coração Da Bahia Group's story

Maria (the woman in the blue top) is the head of her family and lives with her child in a rental house in São Paulo. She is a determined woman who works as a party and event planner and also sells cakes, sweets, and salty snacks.

When she was still very young she left her home state in the northeast of Brazil and went to São Paulo to try some new opportunities in life. She started working in a restaurant. She saved money and, after a while, she left her job to start her own party planning business and buffet.

Due to the COVID-19 crisis, she is unable to hold events, so she is selling cakes, snacks, and sweets via messenger app. In this way she is getting some income to cover her family’s basic needs.

She is asking for this loan to increase her sales so that she can get more money to support her household. She is hoping to be able to buy packaging and a freezer.

She dreams of giving her child a dignified life and of overcoming the COVID-19 crisis and once again planning events.

The group is grateful to their investors.
