A loan helped to buy dairy cows to increase the headcount of cattle and sales of organic milk.

Altynkul's story

Altynkul, 42, is married and has 3 children. She has a secondary education and by nature she is hardworking, purposeful and enterprising.

She is well versed in agricultural technology and knows how to invest in this area. She has been engaged in animal husbandry since 2001 and this has been the main income for her family. Thanks to Altynkul’s hard work and responsible approach to business, she has been able to develop her farm and now has a cow, 50 sheep and 4 horses. There is 0.4 hectares of irrigated land on which she grows beans.

In order to further develop her farm, Altynkul has applied to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 100,000 som (KGS) for the purchase of dairy cows, in order to increase sales of organic milk and the income from livestock raising.

She plans to invest income from the loan in the further development of her farm.
