Sol E Lua Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy fabric, thread, elastic, and packaging.

Sol E Lua Group's story

Rosangela (fourth from left to right in the photo) is the group's leader. She lives with her husband and two children in a small house in Sao Paulo.

After her first husband passed away, she went through a very difficult time. She wasn't working and had to support herself and the children. That was when she decided to open a small studio in one of the rooms of her house where she could sew and generate income to support her family. Thanks to this business she was able to provide a dignified and comfortable life for her children.

She now has wonderful customers and earns a good income from her sewing. She also is able to split the household expenses with her new husband. And now, because of the Covid-19 pandemic, in addition to making clothing, she is also making masks and selling them at affordable prices to help the whole community protect itself.

Rosangela is asking for this loan to invest in fabric, thread, elastic, and packaging. Her dream is to establish a clothing line with her own brand for resale.

The group is grateful to the investors.
